Art and music go hand-in-hand when it comes to Christian Thomas Lee.

Lee, a classical guitarist and art collector, entertained and informed Highland school children last week as the district's Artist-In-Residence.

Lee's appearance, sponsored by the Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence, included visits to all four schools making hour-long presentations. In addition to performing, he showed students a variety of his priceless works of art. Pablo Picasso, Clyde Keller, Pasqualini and Fabergé are some of the artists represented in his collection.

Students seemed fascinated by the world-renowned musician and lecturer. Lee has released five CD's and appeared in more than 2,0000 private performances for audiences ranging from presidents and royalty to captains of industry.
