Dear Christian:

I wanted to thank you so much for coming to Grace Community School and sharing your gifts and talents.  You have without question left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of our students and donors alike.

Our students were impacted greatly by your visit.  The assembly you did for our students spurred discussion in a matter unsurpassed by other assembly speakers.  Several students shared with me that you had a great impact on them, and that you were the best assembly speaker they had ever seen.

Your message to our junior high and high school art classes was equally poignant.  You've inspired our students to explore their own artistic abilities as you reminded them that they all have artistic ability.  I think your message will carry with them the rest of their lives.

Following an art class, a young student can hardly believe it, as he holds and studies the pipe of King Edward VIII

We wanted to thank our donors for their generous contributions to Grace Community School in general, and to our building fund in particular.  I received rave reviews from the four concerts you performed in homes.  Many donors expressed to me that they came expecting an entertaining, but rather dry, evening.  What they experienced was something completely different.  They expected they would be entertained, and learn a lot - they did.  What they were not expecting, and what pleasantly surprised them, was how much they laughed, and what a great time they actually had.  They left feeling they were well-thanked for the work they had done. At the same time, they left inspired to do more.  Your message of philanthropy touched our constituents profoundly.  I cannot help but to believe that your words, art, and music helped to solidify our relationships with our major donors, and that we will reap the benefit of your visit for years to come.

You have made a major contribution to the future developmental health of our school.  I believe that many of our donors have a greater understanding of what it is to give of your life and heart.  You have given them a greater understanding of how to give.  I appreciate so much your willingness to come to Grace Community School and give of yourself for the betterment of our school.

It is not often that I get to make a friend who's not like so many others I know.  You're unique, Chris. I appreciate that about you.  I give thanks to God that he's gifted you in so many ways and that you use your gifts generously and well.

I am proud to call you a friend. I hope to see you soon.
